Farmers who direct market products to consumers—farmers market vendors, on-farm retail market owners, roadside stand operators, etc.— are invited to the fourth installment of the Direct Farm Maketing for Success Workshops. The workshops will be held in February and March, 2011, in four locations throughout the state.
Locations:
- February 24 —White Pine
- March 8 — Jackson
- March 9 — Nashville
- March 10 — Cookeville
The events fulfill the workshop requirement of the TAEP for agritourism operators seeking the master level of cost-share funding.
Workshop topics will include the following:
- Planning, designing and marketing websites
- Utilizing social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogs, etc.
- Internet Ads
- Tools for evaluating marketing efforts such as Google Analytics/Alerts and Survey Monkey
Registration is $15 per person prior to February 17 (for White Pine) or March 1 (for Jackson, Nashville or Cookeville) OR $20 per person for late registration.
