| Jennifer joined the Center in July 2007 as a Marketing Specialist. She is involved with various value-added farmer projects and provides leadership to value-added meat and livestock initiatives. Jennifer was born in Kingman, Kansas and grew up on a family farm in Limon, Colorado where she was active in 4-H activities and athletics. She continued her education at Western State College of Colorado in Gunnison, Colorado where she earned B.S. degrees in Business Administration and Economics while playing basketball for two years. She completed her Master's degree at Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Agricultural Economics in 2007. While at OSU she focused her research on the value that consumers place on brands and product attributes for fresh beef products at the retail level. While working on her Master's degree, Jennifer was also active within the Stillwater, Oklahoma community, volunteering as a girl's basketball coach at Stillwater High School. |
