TAEP Producer Diversification Cost Share Program
The TAEP (Tennessee Agriculture Enhancement Program) Producer Diversification Cost Share Program aims to raise farm income in Tennessee by encouraging farmers to expand and improve their operations through diversified activities.
The TAEP Producer Diversification Cost Share Program is part of the Tennessee Agriculture Enhancement Program (TAEP), a cost-sharing program administered through the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. The TAEP, an annual program, is funded through a state appropriation for farm programs as proposed by Governor Phil Bredesen and approved by the Tennessee General Assembly.

To assist farmers with their applications, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture partnered with the UT Center for Profitable Agriculture to host a series of educational workshops focused on the Producer Diversification Cost Share Program.
The workshops were held as part of the Center’s Developing Rural Businesses (DRB) Program.
